Update U in All: India suffer Earthquake in Sikkim, Strong tremors appear in Delhi

Update news: Around 115 people are found dead. Local officers stating that death number may increase as days goes on. Sikkim itself has 75 people death, Remaining death are in Bihar, WestBengal, U.P. etc.

Tremors many times appeared with low Richter scale readings less than 5 magnitude.


Public property lossed at nearly 100 crores estimated.

India suffer Earthquake in Northeastern India (Sikkim), Strong tremors appear in Delhi and mild tremours in other parts of Northeastern India.

Location - Northeastern India Region states, Boarders of Nepal, Bangladesh
Day-Sunday, 18th September 2011.
Noted Richter scale reading-6.8 magnitudes.

Reoccurred readings- 5, almost 30 seconds
  
Strong Impact on People-several people injured (in the capital of India's Sikkim state.)


Mild imacted states-all across the North India including Delhi, Patna, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal also.

Public Warning- more aftershocks are possible with less impact.
